Printing

We are a small enthusiastic group that meets monthly, on the fourth Thursday morning.   Printing is a very satisfying activity.  Before cutting into lino or wood with special tools, a design is chosen and transferred to the block as a mirror image.  This can be done with tracing paper or freehand.  One or more printing ink colours are then applied with a roller after the carving is finished.  The block is then placed on paper or cloth and rolled through our unique handmade printing press.   We welcome any new people to come and join us in the art of Printing.
